Watch wrestling matches on NNPS-TV

The Telecom student production crew recorded the high school wrestling matches held on January 18, and the matches are being aired on NNPS-TV (Cox Channel 47/Verizon FiOS Channel 17).

Additionally, the Telecom crew did a live webstream of the matches on the Internet, using YouTube and their TV production equipment.

The wrestling event was held at Menchville High School.

The matches recorded and live streamed were:

Heritage vs. Denbigh
Heritage vs. Menchville
Denbigh vs. Menchville

The Telecom crew worked in the gym and in the remote video production truck. Four cameras were used, with students operating the cameras. Students also were in the positions of Technical Director, GG/Graphics Operator, and Audio Operator.

Students taking part in the production were: Jose Solivan, Gabe Odachowski, Deon Davis, Summer Eley, Muriel Gamble, Eleanor Stuck, Darin Cooper and Telecom graduate Dwayne Peterson. NNPS-TV staff included Telecom Supervisor Ray Price (Producer), Instructor Carl Daniels, Jr. (Instructor/Production Assistant), Bill Barlow (Director), Greg Lesko (Engineer), Greg Bicouvaris (Announcer), and Nate Milton (Announcer).

Telecom student Gabe Odachowski ran the live stream.

Twelve different high school sports have been produced for television by NNPS-TV: football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, wrestling, tennis, track & field, swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, and lacrosse.

In January:

Friday at 7 p.m.
Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
