If there's one thing Telecom students learn while working on TV shows and live broadcasts, it's that they have to be able to adapt to the circumstances. Location or weather may change and affect the production, equipment may fail and necessitate work-arounds at the last moment, or, unbelievably, a global pandemic might close schools with three months to go.

TV students have had to learn from home, doing interviews with family members using their cell phones. They have created PSA's without their usual AVID editing software. They have continued studying the usual aspects of broadcasting and working on a production. They have also done reporter stand-ups reporting on the COVID-19 outbreak.

Telecom students graduating this year have learned to adapt and be resilient, and will take those skills with them as they go out into the world.
