Student news

Telecom logoIn TV-I, the students have just completed their green screen assignment, where they work in teams of 2 or 3 and record each other on camera with a script provided by the instructor.  The students use AVID to edit the green screen, adding a background, music and graphics.  Their next project is a video/photo montage.

A few of the students also recorded and edited pep rallies at Woodside and Heritage high schools, which are airing on NNPS-TV.

The TV-II students completed their VSBA ( Virginia School Boards Association) projects and are now working on their PSAs.  Upon completion of their PSAs, they will start the studio operations phase of the class.  The students will try different positions during a television show and then get an opportunity to direct a show. Later they will create and direct a show.
