On May 24, the Telecom crew livestreamed and video-recorded the New Horizons Build Hampton Roads "Good Life Solutions" Career Selection Day Ceremony, which was held at Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton.

The event was a celebration of New Horizons students joining the workforce. The program featured the announcement of employers and students with employment offers, and the presentation of awards.

Because of COVID-19 crowd limits, the Telecom team was asked to livestream the event for parents and family members who could not be present at the ceremony.

The students were called to the stage and the training program they completed was announced. A representative from their new place of employment was there to congratulate them.

According to their website, New Horizons Regional Education Center (NHREC) is operated by the six Peninsula school divisions to provide educational services that are most efficient to implement through a regional partnership, with the goal being to help develop a world-class workforce and self-sufficient citizens.

The Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) is part of New Horizons and offers training in a wide range of jobs, such as HVAC, Welding, and Criminal Justice.

The Telecom crew consisted of three NNPS-TV staff members and three NNPS Telecom graduates. Telecom Supervisor Ray Price was Producer/Director; Instructor Carl Daniels, Jr. was Assistant Director/Graphics/Production Assistant; and Broadcast Engineer Greg Lesko handled the engineering and audio.

Telecom grads from 2019 and 2020 made up the rest of the crew: Collin Smalls, Joshua Stuck, and Brandon Hedgepeth.
