NNPS-TV has acquired new programming that will begin airing in June.

A new season of the award-winning series, "Biz Kid$," includes six new episodes. The educational and highly entertaining series is produced by the creative team that made the popular series, "Bill Nye the Science Guy."

"Biz Kid$" is fast-paced and clever, introducing children to financial responsibility in a fun and engaging way. Kids learn about credit, saving, budgeting, investing money, and business through entertaining comedy sketches and spoofs of movies, TV shows, and cultural phenomena.

New episodes include "College Bound," "My First Credit Card," and "Can Money Buy Happiness?."

Also new in June is "Into the Outdoors," which highlights environmental awareness and outdoor lifestyles that encourage young people to become good stewards of Earth. Through exciting family adventures, students learn about boating safety, fishing, hunting, cooking, and more.

A mix of science and adventure, "Into the Outdoors" will keep students enthralled and inspired.

Both "Biz Kid$" and "Into the Outdoors" are geared toward middle school students and up.

A few other new shows were added to NNPS-TV's programming earlier this year.

More episodes of "Meet the Author" are airing in May and June. The show features children's and young adult authors who share personal stories, offer writing tips, and encourage students to read and write.

There is a video call-in session where students at a selected school ask questions via Skype, too.

The new episodes include interviews with John Grisham, James Riley, Kwame Alexander, Kat Zhang, Ruta Sepetys, Lisa McMann, and more.

Another new show is interesting to adults as well as youth, as it combines military service members and food.

"The Grill Sergeants" from the Pentagon Channel is a cooking show featuring some of the military’s top chefs. Viewers are taken through step-by-step menu prep and receive nutrition and food safety tips, too.

The dynamic and colorful personalities of the military chefs entertain while informing, which is definitely a tried-and-true recipe for success.

NNPS-TV can be seen on Cox Channel 47, Verizon Fios 17, and via livestream on Roku and Apple TV, and on the NNPS-TV app.

The webstream may be seen online at nnpstv.com anywhere that has internet connectivity. There is also a livestream on the NNPS-TV video site.
