Telecom students have been keeping busy with innovative projects they can do at home using their cell phones.

Telecom students have been covering the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) Annual Convention for years. Held in Williamsburg, the convention draws over 1,000 school board members, superintendents, and school division employees from all over Virginia.

To people in the photography or television industry, "zoom" used to mean a long lens or a tighter shot, but it means something different for most folks nowadays. Since the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting social distancing, so many people have turned to the video-chat platform as a substitute for in-person meetings.

Telecom and Youth Development joined forces for a successful live-stream event: The NNPS Virtual Block Party. It was held September 10 and featured local guests, performers, prize drawings, and lots of excitement about the new school year.
