Telecom building now open

The Telecommunications Center was closed for HVAC replacement over the summer, which meant packing up offices and the classroom and working from home except for studio needs. The work is complete and the staff has moved back in ... just in time to welcome TV-I and TV-II students for the new school year.

Student news

Telecom students are returning to the Telecommunications Center after a long hiatus due to COVID-19 and building repairs (HVAC system and carpeting). Remote production training will occur during the school year since there was no access to the building over the summer.

The Telecom alumni TV crew has been handling live broadcasts of School Board meetings as well as summer graduation.

Protections are in place in the School Board Auditorium to curtail the spread of COVID-19, so the public may join in person if they choose. School Board meetings can also be seen on the live webstream of the channel during the live broadcast or the replays. Our NNPS-TV Roku and Apple TV channels also have a livestream you can watch during the TV broadcasts, or you can find the meetings on demand there, or on YouTube, afterward, usually the following day.
